What to Expect during a cake-smash shoot..
Welcome Friends,
I would like to walk you through how a cake-smash photoshoot works in our Downtown Harland Studio.
When you contact A&A Photography, LLC and book a shoot we start to discuss all the fun details.
-What Kind of theme do you have in mind? If no theme.. I always have TONS of ideas
-Are you planning on bringing props?
-How many outfits?
-What do you want the cake to look like?
All of our shoots start out with a different backdrop and your first set of outfit for your little "ONE" year olds photoshoot.
I like to capture all of the big milestones.. At this stage in life our little ones have just began to start walking. I capture photos of your little standing.. some of them walking/crawling.. and some of them sitting!
Up Next.. the CAKE!
I then get you all set up for your cakes-mash!! I provide all the props for your cake-smash photoshoot. I am always ok with my clients bringing their own props for us to coordinate into the shoot.
I start by getting some photos of your little one by themselves (without eating the cake) and than we let them.. eat cake!

Little ones who like to dip their toes
Little ones who like to shove their faces in the cake
Little ones who like to grab handfuls of this awesome yummy treat!
After the shoot we get your little one cleaned up.. We can provide Paper towel/ Bags to bring home clothing and wipes.. or you can also bring your own. We try and make this a easy carefree simple process!
